Our 26-week program is designed to give you the skills, structure, and confidence
to build your own business.
Delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, with support from the Government of Canada,
the program is fully funded—so if you're starting a business, taking over an existing one, or are in your first
six months of operation, you can participate at no cost.
You'll learn from experienced entreprenuers and business specialists who understand what it takes to get a business off the ground,
and keep it going. With practical guidance, real-world insights, and step-by-step, you'll build a strong foundation
for your business.
The program includes:
10 weeks of in-class/online training
Learn in a small-group setting with expert instruction covering:
Goal setting and business planning
Market research and forecasting
Accounting, banking, and taxes
Licensing and insurance
Advertising, marketing, and promotion
16 weeks of guided business development
Put your plan into action with:
Weekly small-group mentorship sessions
Personalized coaching and support
Ongoing guidance as you launch and grow your business
By the end of the program, you won’t just have an idea—you’ll have a plan, the tools to execute it, and the support
to move forward with confidence.
